try to don't get any grain of sand in my shoes walking on the beach
I ended my cinematography studies at university (in Bologna) in late 2011, then I made videos for events (weddings, concert, etc), music video, street theatre. After a while I started making documentaries about people living in Sardinia, my island and with a project called "Dei sardi nel mondo" I travelled in SE Asia.
Come back to Europe I feel like I couldn't work anymore the same way I worked in the past.. so I quit my job as video/filmmaker. Getting more and more into contemporary art and performances in particular I ended up with a project about sustainable travels (with my beautiful bike Clementine!). The aim is... that.. there's no aim, just living life, living it in a pure form, forgetting about schemes and stupid rules of our everyday life. To do that we need to smile, we need to find our joy of life, of living and being happy in the right moment.
With this project, VivereDaZero, I would like to do that: filming those "performances of new living" and sharing them on my YouTube channel.
To reconnect ourself with our mother: the Nature, and see the social economical system as what it really is: a system of rules invented by us. Don't forget there's something more above our head, and we have the power to..
our life is dominate by power, money, and feelings that we don't really understand but I dont' forget that we are just animals. animals living in a planet that we are destroying. I try to remember myself everyday, every time, I just follow the wrong social rules, I had just one boss: nature!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to live sharing with other people emotion, feelings, thinks, and all the nature gives us, something that you can't translate with money. Something that's inside your soul.
I want to run if my body feel to run. I want to cry, to scream, if it feels like that. I wanna be free in mind.
My roommate starts me at CS when we where young students in Bologna. First time in my life, I was surprise how easily was sharing with people one of the most important things (maybe the most) to survive: your home, a roof above your head, hot tea in the morning, and more: chat, smiles, laughs.
After that I used CS myself for my first backpack travel on a trip through Berlin, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic.
Then in Thailand, Borneo, Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam and Istanbul. Now it's like an addiction, I do CouchSurfing also when I go in the north of Italy visiting friends, sometimes I escape in a city nearby looking for CS's.
There's a power in meeting strangers and quickly discovered they are like you.
I always carry my camera with me. I love shooting and I make a lot of footage. I love music (ambient, dubstep, industrial, something minimal, but also, indie rock with emo influences, post rock). I play drums and a little guitar. I play rollerblade (street and sometimes in skatepark). And I live for art.
But, what is art? something too old maybe. The old is recognizable, the new is just the trying of a wrong communication... think about that man!
