About Me

Never stop learning and loving

I grew up in Tianjin,China, went to school in Milwaukee and Austin in the U.S.. I enjoy traveling, meeting people and talking about everything from politics to favorite movies.

I moved from Tokyo to New York recently, and missing Japanese food so much. New York is busy, hectic, a true melting pot and will be my home for a while.

I am still trying to figure out the more serious and philosophical side of it. As for now, I want to live life to the fullest, treat everyone nicely, protect the environment and live simple. But I have to say, as time goes, I feel more and more that the world is messed up, oops.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to host in Shanghai when my apartment was spacious and nice. In Tokyo it's quite hard since space is quite limited. My husband and I have an apartment in Manhattan near east village, you are welcome to crash in our living room on couch/air mattress.

I heard about Couch Surfing from my geophysicist roommate. I have hosted a lot of people since I moved to Shanghai, I have surfed others couch in China,Brazil and Malaysia, it's been a great experience.
