ABOUT ME

Hello :)

I'd describe myself as Passionate, Hardworking, Adventurous, Caring and Helpful. I very much love singing, music and exercise.

At the moment, i am at college studying for my A-Levels and i'm also arranging a gap year for when i finish, where i intend to spend a few months in Kenya and help out at a village primary school.

After University i want to go travelling around the world for about 5 years. If i don't decide to set up a life abroad then i guess i'll come back to the UK to settle down and use my Uni Degree to get a professional job.

I pretty much like to live life as a free spirit and i love learning about people and their culture. Different social and geographical environments fascinate me. Also I'm not particularly materialistic, i'd be happy to live a simple life abroad and enjoy the culture and beauty of the world. Having said that, i am very grateful for the life that i have and for the oppotrunities i have been given. :) ♥

PHILOSOPHY

I generally believe that life and tradition in the UK is rigid and boring! There is very little upward mobility for people to suceed and do well here, unless they have the money to do it. Also i feel that i have so much more to give and so much more to see of the world- i so desperately feel that i should live life to the full and experience all that their is to experience.

The world is big enough and beautiful enough to occupy us for a lifetime and we are fools if we don't grab the opportunity to travel with both hands.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I aim to use this website as a way of gaining as much knowledge as i can about what to expect when i eventually start travelling. For example, is it best to travel with someone? What things should i take? What are the risks? What should i expect?

If anyone can spare the time to message me and give me some pointers about how they prepared for their travels i would very much appreciate it.
