About Me

Long story short, I am an urban nomad jumping from one place to another- trying to find my passion and my unique path in life.

On top of my internship/master, I have several projects and a long bucket list. My main motivation for being in CS is to get inspired from people and extend the list.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

About four years ago, I discovered my passion for travelling alone. Never been big a big fan of tourist attractions, and I think the most interesting part of travelling is people you get to know on your way.

I mostly had the most memorable experiences in CS. It gives you the opportunity to meet people that you could otherwise never know their existence or way of living.

It is also a good way to test your intuition about people. But don't worry, most of the times it doesn't let you down.

And now, having recently moved to Amsterdam, it is time to upgrade my status from 'surfer' to 'host'!

Travelling, nature, hiking, photography, music, movies, board games, cooking, yoga, meditation...

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite writers: Herman Hesse, Salinger, Paul Auster, Alain de Botton

Favorite music: Bonobo, Aphex Twin, Alt-J, Jaga Jazzist, Avishai Cohen

Great movies I have seen recently: Youth, Victoria, Pride, Dead Man...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know what could be the one big thing. But when I look back:

-Buying single, one-way ticket to India and travelling there for weeks with 2 great people I met on my way without planning anything.
-Hiking 70 km and camping in the Lycian way
-Swimming naked in deserted bays/lakes
-Sleeping/waking up in dunes, camel safari

are some of the first memories that pop up.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Just to make things clear, i feel very pissed and upset to receive copy-paste messages that look all the same "want to have local experience and you look like a nice person, can i crash in your place tonight?" If this your first time in CS, that is very rude guys! CS is not a free hostel. You are getting into one's personal space and demanding their trust and time. Please imagine yourself receiving such messages and think twice!

I only accept travelers, who have real passion and curiosity and stories to share.

I am not yet a local in Amsterdam but we can discover the city together at the weekends!

During weekdays, we can cook together, grab some beers with my friends or simply exchange our stories.

By the way, we live in an island. Therefore, if the sun is there, going to the beach is always an option!
