traveling around, get to know many different people, cultures and languages, come to appreciate the nature and landscapes more than I did before and to discover myself
I'm Rebecca, 23 and from Germany (Bavaria, where the good beer is from) :)
I was traveling "around the world" from October 2010 until September 2011. My first stop was Australia where I spent 5 1/2 months with working and traveling around the country...
Thereafter I've been to New Zealand for 6 weeks of traveling. I really enjoyed this trip! NZ is such an amazing country with beautiful landscapes and super nice people and I was so sad when I had to leave this "wonderland" :(
In Venezuela I spent the first 2 weeks couchsurfing in Caracas and another 4 weeks in Merida - I made great experiences with couchsurfing and am convinced that this is the best opportunity to get to know locals and learn about their real lifestyle :)
Last stop was in the USA. I was visiting my relatives in California and traveling around Arizona and Nevada. I got to see a lot and really enjoyed my stay in the US :) people are so easy-going and talkactive over there, I was fascinated!
I'm back home now, working again, living the all day life and missing every second of my trip :)
- Dreams are the touchstones of our characters
- Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away
- You reap what you sow
... so I try to live my life and my dreams, to enjoy every second of my life cause you never know when it'll be over, try to learn from other people and my mistakes, to be satisfied in any situation and to be happy without all this materialism in the world....
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
just great experiences so far
playing guitar (for myself) and clarinet (in a band), I'm an actress in our local theater (for hobby), of course traveling (preferably the whole world), different cultures, languages and habits, dancing (would love to learn Salsa and other South American dances), learning SPANISH :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
