I usually travel alone and, even if I am totally fine with doing so, it is always better if I spend some of my traveling time with someone.

Couchsurfign is the best way to meet new people while traveling that can show you all those secret places tourists could never find in a city they are visiting. Furthermore, it enriches me at a personal level, as it is a great way to learn about the world from people of other nationalities who may have different visions.
