About Me

I'll be 22 come april, I was born in the bronx in NYC. Moved away when I was about 5yr old with my mother and younger sister, went to las vegas; lived there for 2 close to 3years. Then moved up to Washington state to the city of vancouver, stayed around til about the 5th grade then moved again up river to the "Columbia Gorge". (which the columbia river acts as the natural border for Oregon and Washington) so I've pretty much moved all along up and down that river throughout my middleschool and high school years.*if you wanna know what the area looks like just watch the first Twilight movie and you'll get a good idea*. Went away more up river my junior year to a creepy alfred hitchcock kinda mill town. The lumber mill had shut down some time ago and the was probably less than 200 people who inhabited that small "village". To call this place a town was a joke, the whole high school I attended had 45 students tops, the entire school so that's like 15 students to a class. Stayed there for almost a year, but in 2011 when no jobs were to be found, we decided to try our luck in Colorado. I stayed personally only a month after school was finished; I flew out to new york for the summer while my mother and sister figured how to get back to Washington. Eventually we all met up again I finished my senior year at a small alternative school back in Vancouver unfortunatley I ultimatly did not graduate. And I did not return for a 5th yr, so here I am again in washington where I've live most of my life and I always get asked where do you like it better in NY or out here. To be honest I love it where I can take breaths of fresh air, be able to hike outdoors like woods and drink from streams and waterfalls I know to be pure and clean, and above most all just being able to see what the earth has to provide us with her natural beauty and goodness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If you read "About Me" you can kinda gather I live in a very cool place to be but I know I'm far from seeing less than a percent of all of what this world has to offer. So I am trying to get a good start while I'm young, when I was 19 I had this plan to bicycle across america hitting up food challenges in every major U.S. city. That didn't ever happen then I thought when I was 20 I would hike the PCTrail from Mexico border to Canada, things still didn't go my way. Now here I am 21 aproaching 22 in a few months with a new plan to see America the best way possible and that is to put it simply; Walk, hitch hike, or jump on trains. I could still plan on doing eating challenges along the way, do part time jobs that come my way and go to the next town or truck stop. Whatever it may be.

Interests

I'm pretty much down for anything, there's nothing I won't really do as long as I know how to do it but then again I'm a real fast learner. So as the French say "At Least Once".

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music except country, unless its real old skool stuff none of that wussy pop music stuff they try to lable as such. Movies when comes to me I'm probably one of the biggest buffs you'll ever meet. I know every actor and every scene and line probably uttered in that movie, as for books I love all the true classics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Only this execellent journey to embark on. Otherwise of much of jack anything, still just trying to live my life and find the place I need to be on this adventure and trip we call life.

We Are All Mortals, Our Bodies Though Strong. Can't Defy Time, One Day We Will Die. What Matters Most Is The Legacy We Leave Behind, Did We Become All We Were Capable of Becoming? Did We Make The Difference We Came Here To Make. Did We Pursue Our Dreams When All Around Us Thought We Were Chasing Illusions? Only Those Who Dare To Rise Are Able To Lift Themselves above Horizons. Only Those Bold Enough To Chase Dreams, Are The Ones Who Catch Them.
