Interests

I do a lot of sports (swimming, capoeira, climbing). My love of travelling is partly satisfied through my job as a PhD student in agricultural economics, working on technology adoption in Central Africa (mainly D.R.Congo and Burundi). To make up for the flights, to decrease unnecessary carbon emissions, or to ???? , I don't eat meat or fish.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My love and curiousity of travelling and meeting other people was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, where I did my erasmus program. there, I made some friends for life!
A striking moment was during my field work in East Congo, and becoming friends with people threatened not only by starvation, but also by civil war and all human rights violations that come with it.
