ABOUT ME

Hi my name is Isabel, I grew up just outside Palmerston North in New Zealand. I studied in palmy too and moved to the Hawkes Bay after graduating. After a couple of years working and saving, I quit my job to travel around the world! Eventually I will end up in the UK.

I'm new to couch surfing, so this will be my first time.

Interests

I'm in love with traveling and meeting new people, hearing their stories. I also like painting and seeing live music. I enjoy playing touch rugby and indoor netball.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I enjoy listening to alt j, grimes, Ben Harper, Chet faker, the Checks, Grizzly Bear, Lianne la Havas, the Wyld.
I love watching movies, some of my favourites are, Pans Labrynth, Ondine, Big Fish, Broken English. Favourite movie of this year is Django unchained. I love Disney movies too.
Im not a massive reader, but my favourite book is The Book Thief. I also enjoy girly classics like Jayne Eyre, and Pride and Prejudice etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen some amazing things on this world trip, one of the most memorable was elephant training in Thailand.
