ABOUT ME

I have been living for a long time in New Zealand and Australia and like to travel.
I am a non-smokers, don't drink, am quite health conscious and love to cook.

PHILOSOPHY

One day LOVE asked FRIENDSHIP: "Why are you in the world when I am here?"
Friendship smiled and said: " To spread smiles where you leave tears..."

You can never have enough friends on this world and I have met some amazing people on my travels

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

When I owned a home, I always hosted travellers, friends of friends, hitchhikers, etc.
Unfortunately circumstances have changed and I cannot host anyone at the moment.
During many years of travels I also have enjoyed the hospitality of other people.
My job requires travelling a lot. I actually spend months very year in hotels, that seem to be all the same just in different locations. So when not working, I like to travel differently and really meet the locals and find new friends.

兴趣

I am very much into Emergency Services and have done all kind of training and volunteering. I have helped finding missing people, rescue people that have fallen off cliffs, assisted after mayor earthquakes, floods, accidents and even crimes.
I also have a great interest in flora, fauna and cultures.

I enjoy a variety of music, however I also enjoy the quiet times.

Books,well there are all those on my bedside cabinet that I should read...
If really do have time to read something that is not work or study related, I love true stories especially when written in a funny way.

Amazingly I have turned 59 with all the crazy things I have done in my life. And not to forget, I went to San Fermin (the bull races) in Pamplona!
