ABOUT ME

I am married with 2 kids. We are very open-minded people who love to get out of our comfort zone, any time we begin to feel too comfortable living somewhere we know it's time to move and taste something new. There are so many places to see, so many things to do!
We take our kids everywhere, we want them to experience the world! We've been to Canada, China, Japan, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Turkey, Mexico and the Caribbean.
We've been on to 5 week road trips across America, once with a tent trailer and once in a VW camper van.
We live humbly so we can afford to travel. When we do travel we don't need expensive hotels or restaurants.
We love sightseeing and hiking.
We enjoy a good party, but don't seek them out. We like to hang out with our close friends and family.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Because we are new to this we are not yet available to host. We would like to have a few experiences being hosted first to get an idea of how it all works.
If you have any ?s about our area on Oahu, Hawaii or just about anywhere in Utah we will be happy to answer and give suggestions of what to do and see.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Non so far, hopefully we can begin in Nov.!

TRAVEL!!! Hiking, snorkeling, scuba diving, ocean/lake kayaking, snowboarding, my husband is really into the old VW buses.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love movies, but hardly ever go to the theater. We have a projector and screen at home and rent the $1 movies from RedBox.
We enjoy comedies and action films, often sci-fi if it's not too stupid. We try to avoid dramas, they are too, well, dramatic. BLAH!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We moved to Hawai'i, away from everyone and everything we know just because we wanted to! And what a phenomenal experience it has been!
We've climbed the Great Wall of China, We've been to the southern most tip of the US on the Big Island of Hawaii.
We've been to the lowest elevation in No. America @ 282 feet below sea level in Death Valley Nat'l Park.
