ABOUT ME
I've got four kids, three of em live with me and my wife. I have a radical streak that doesn't leave me alone, although i'm not the most vocal person I know and I usually take a conciliatory approach which has been instilled into me by having all these enthusiastic and wonderful children who have taught me countless lessons about myself and my approach to everyday life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well I signed on at the suggestion of the Forum on the Solidarity economy being held in a couple of weeks as of this writing in hopes of finding some folks who could provide me with a new experience being that this is internet based and all, and I can't say i've ever done anything quite exactly like this previously. I plan on starting another family profile as we like to travel and this seems like it could be an interesting and more meaningful way to visit new places and meet new people & families who might need a place to stay for a couple days out our way.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mostly just staying at friends homes or having friends stay at ours. We tend to have people over every other month or so. We had family stay over two weeks ago and an old friend stay over the week before that. We have spent the night at our friends camp in the Adirondacks north of here and at her home, and we also have gone out for a wedding in Oklahoma a couple years ago and stayed at their home. I had periods when I was much younger where I literally would couch surf from friend to friend to relatives homes. When I was at my first college i couch surfed for the last couple months with some really great roomates.
