About Me

Software engineering student from Bosnia living and studying in Austria. I have always had a great desire to travel coming mostly from being interested in history. I traveled a lot in my pre- and early teens with my parents, but since going away for studies, I haven't taken any opportunities to travel. Instead of the conventional touring through travel agencies, I've decided a much better solution for me is planing my own trips.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a student with a great desire to travel, but limited funds, I discovered couchsurfing as a great option.
Not only is it an option to save on accommodation, but also to learn unique things I would never learn visiting a place on my own.
I would gladly host, but unfortunately I live in a student dorm with no place for a second person, and the town I'm from in my home country, where I spend most of my holidays, is unfortunately a few hours away from anything interesting, and the town itself is uneventful without anything worth it for a tourist.

Teach, Learn, Share

Being from Bosnia, a country not many are closely familiar with, I can teach hosts about the differences in our cultures however big or subtle they are. I can share my experiences in a way to motivate them to visit my home country when they decide to travel.
I am looking to learn the cities and towns I'm visiting in the best way possible, and visiting it with a local seems like the best possible idea.
