ABOUT ME

I'm a native Californian and live in West Bath, Maine. I do mostly visual effects work from home, and occasionally produce my own films. My girlfriend is a violist that plays professionally in a string quartet. We love Maine, but it can get dull sometimes in a town of about 5000, so we enjoy meeting interesting people from away. Come visit. We are both creative, and easy going people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I joined CS a few years ago, I'm just starting to explore the concept more thoroughly, and have enjoyed my experience thus far. I hope to surf and host more often as I can see this is a great way to enrich one's life.

Interests

My interest are many and wide ranging. I've been sailing for 3 years and love to kayak around the islands near our house. I hike and swim, but I can also sit at the piano for hours and practice a Bach partita. I enjoy and need cultural experiences such as going to museums and concerts. I love nature, cinema, cooking, wine, music, traveling, and conversation. I have an insatiable, curious mind and love to learn new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love foreign films and the occasional hollywood blockbuster, but I find that I watch mostly documentaries. I like most types of music, but play mostly classical on the piano.

I'm fluent in Spanish and love to teach others. I can also teach people how to sail or play the piano.
