ABOUT ME

I'm pretty quiet when you first meet me and then later I won't shut up. I'm very in to meeting new people and (especially) experiencing new cultures.

Sadly, I hadn't left the country until 2012 when I moved to Montreal, Qubec, Canada. I then did a road trip all across the US and visited 35 states in a year and a half. Along the way I lived in Austin, Texas. I now live in Seattle, WA. I'm heading to Europe for the first time in September and I'm really excited.

I'm a very curious person I have a passion for knowing how things work. I'm almost constantly looking things up and questioning what is around me. I'm also super handy. I grew up remodeling homes, spent 7 years building / repairing furniture professionally, and am currently a programmer by profession (mostly web and mobile). So between my driving curiosity and life experience I can fix almost anything.

I've stayed with 2 people (using my friends account) and I used to host a couch (also through that friend's account). I plan to host a couch again in Seattle when I get back from Europe.

I'm mostly amazed by nature. Mount St Helen and Mount Rainier in the Pacific Northwest of the United States are incredible. In the southwest the grand canyon and the painted deserts and the vast expanseses of nothingness really blew me away. I saw a town in the middle of nowhere in misourri that a man spent 30 years piecing together as an art project and about an hour away a massive grotto that another man pieced together from pebbles in the middle of a forest. Both of these things were incredible because someone decided to just dedicate the remainder if their life to building them.
