Hi, I am Julian. I love to challenge myself and explore opportunities. My current challenge is doing a software startup with two of my friends.
I am also involved in the social housing community. I host travelers from around the world. My house is also your house.

I really enjoy listening to other people's stories. I think that we have some much to learn from each-other. Every people is contributing to the wealth of the world in it's own unique way. It is a facinating

PHILOSOPHY

I think that in order to have a fullfilled life you have to bring value to the world, not just yourself.
1. Help your loved ones as much as you can.
2. Contribute to the wealth of your city.
3. Bring value to your country.
4. Innovate for the whole world to benefit.

It is a waste to live a life only for your benefit. This is selfishness.

Another tought about personal improvment:
Every lerning experience that you have should improve your ability to bring value to the world, otherwise is just vanity.

I think that CS Hosts are just out of the ordinary people. Since know I have only CS my country but I can tell you that the CS people have been always very polite, nice and even went out of their way to be a most hospitable and gracious hosts and friends.

The movies I really like are: Avatar, Lord of the Rings, Stargate
I ussually listen to latin music (salsa, bachata, cha-cha), but I can always appreciate a good rap.
I am reading practical book, books that can teach me something, or that challenge me in some way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been as a volunteer to an archeological site and discovered the wall of an ancient roman fortress.
I have released an open source bioinformatics tool that help in identification of a virus insertion point inside the DNA.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could share my understanding of the world. I have quite a few knowledge about genetics and microbiology.
Also I could tell you stories from the hisstory of my country and you will have a greater understanding of Romanian people.
