Hi! I'm from the Czech Republic and I started travelling right after high school. I have lived in England, Mallorca, Denmark, and United States, all together for 4 years. When I returned back home, I settled in Prague and started studying humanities at a local university while working full time as a coordinator.

From October 2017, I'm taking a break from studies and from my job and I'm going to pursue a TEFL certificate in Barcelona after which I'm planning to stay in Spain and teaching English.

It has been my long-time dream to wander around Provence so I left a little time before my course starts to gather some fresh energy for the next step on my journey. I cannot wait to enjoy the calming views in the villages while drinking same tasty wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never tried this, but it came to my mind as I have few friends who have been couchsurfing during their travels. I think it's a wonderful opportunity to meet locals, especially since I will be travelling alone, and have even better experience from my stay.
I will be extremely grateful for any tips and if I can learn a little about your fascinating home country.

I enjoy reading books in English and my favourite authors are Oliver Sacks, Joan Didion, Annie Dillard etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have worked on a horse and sheep farm in a tiny village close to Stratford upon Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace) for a year and it was absolutely unforgettable.
