My name is Ivana, I'm a 24-years-old student of Philology and I live and study in Montenegro.
I love learning languages and I believe that it is not really possible to be fluent in any language without getting to know the culture behind it and one of the pillars of any culture are its people. I love traveling, food, all kinds of literature but I'm especially passionate about the poetry. I do some writing myself so getting out of my comfort zone is very important for my creative crisis. I love animals, I have six dogs and it seems too few for me, but my mom probably wouldn't agree.

For many reasons, the main one being able to learn about a culture or a place through the people who know it best. Another reason is that I would rather spend money trying delicious food or discovering museums, galleries, historical sites etc. (unfortunately, in the world of today most of those are not free anymore) than be spending it on the hotels.

My favorite music is rock. All kinds, all types.
Pink Floyd, Guns N' Roses, U2, Queen, Elvis Presley, The Smiths, The Doors, Dire Straits, Eagles, Nirvana, AC/DC, Eric Clapton... you get the image xD

I am also a huge, huge, HUGE fan of Spanish bands and artists such as: Loquillo, Joaquin Sabina, Nacho Vegas, Bunbury, Extremoduro, Love of Lesbian, Heroes de Silencio, Pereza, Marea, M-Clan...

When it comes to the movies I have three categories: bad movies, good movies and THE GODFATHER. Don't really have a favorite genre.

Books... I love Russian realism. My favorite writer is Dostoyevsky and my favorite book, as expected, Crime and Punishment. I will just name some random books I like not even trying to list them all because it would take me a whole night (or a couple): The silent Don, Lolita, The Idiot, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Process, The Dubliners, Don Quixote, Great Expectations, As I Lay Dying... Everything by Poe.

And then poetry I like is mostly Spanish authors, my favorite being Neruda.
