I'm fun-loving, easy-going, genuine, always keen for an adventure and to meet new people and experience different cultures. Will always aim to make things easy for the people around me.
I'm a medical student at Bristol University, and work as an English (as a foreign
language) teacher in the summers.
Very jealous of people who have lived in/grew up surrounded by mountains - I'm from London and it's a fantastic city, but I'm more of a country boy at heart, as my family come from the mountains in Snowdonia.
I love to cook, and there's nothing like a really good home-cooked meal with a tasty beer or wine with friends. Will happily cook you a meal as minimum if you're kind enough to host me!
Treat others how you would want them to treat you, and then be nicer than that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hoping to host soon, but very willing/happy to meet up and show you around Bristol!
Couchsurfed a bit in Scandinavia last summer which was a fantastic experience and a great way to get to know a country and people.
Love music - playing, going to gigs and listening. Cooking, playing sport (especially rugby, squash and tennis), and watching football and rugby. Running is a particular favourite - ran half marathons across Scandinavia last summer, and ran a marathon in Iceland last year; reading, films, and travelling (obviously!)
- bungee jumping
Music, Movies, and Books
I'll listen to most things to be honest, would love to share music tastes and learn about new bands though! Similar with movies and books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Milford Sound, New Zealand, was probably the most beautiful place I have ever visited. The bungee jump in Queenstown terrified the pants off me...Skydiving was amazing. Running a marathon in Iceland, and the Blue Lagoon spa. Kayaking through the lakes in Poland. Catching a cayman in the Amazon was also pretty special.
