About Me

Hi there. This is my second account on couchsurfing I don't remember my login details for the old one that's why my account it's so empty. Something about me... I live in Uk with my husband and daughter. We came from Poland to look for a job becouse in our country it's not many opportunities for young people and families. Our government it's hopeless that's why we had to imigrate. It's not easy to live in other country without family and friends. But sometimes you have to sucrefice yourself so your child can have better future. After living here few years I can say that it's really hard. Working long hours to be able to pay your bills, not seeing your child for whole day just to come home so tired and find out your have no energy left to play with your child. It's so unfair. Traveling it's something which we all love. We are family and can enjoy spending time together! I know it's only few weeks in he year which we can afford. But this is the way how we charge our batteries :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After having baby, it's time to travel agin! I think my 2 years old is ready to explore the world with us just like u have done before. Without luxurious hotels, expensive holidays and all that stuff which nobody really needs. I believe that by traveling, meeting local people and living the life they life you can become richer and more open minded. Not everything is money. I started travelling when I was 18. My parents coudnt afford expensive holidays so I didn't have the chance to go abroad for so long. When I grew up and made some money I decided to travel. I was so suprised it was so easy and I didn't need bundle of money with me! I have been to India, Japan, Thailand, Egypt, Marroco, Italy, Sri Lanka, China, Mexico and many more. Now I live in uk with my husband and daughter. I would like to show her that there are some nice people living in other countries who maybe don't have a lot of money but smile on the face and welcoming heart. I want to show to my baby that expensive toys are less important than observing nature and playing with monkeys.. We live in a material world but not everybody must agree wit it. I think Couchsurfing it's the way of traveling you can really get to know local people, them lives, culture and habits. This is all about people not about how many stars is your hotel. You can sleep on the floor and still enjoy your holiday becouse it's all about people who can make your trip great!
