About Me

I love meeting people and immersing myself in other cultures. I'm always looking for ways to learn from other people, especially those I would normally not come in contact with (yay couchsurfing!).
I'm a student of environmental science about to begin my last year of university (undergraduate), and starting to panic at the prospect of living like a "real person." I want to travel as much as possible before facing this reality. !!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never couch surfed before, but am always excited to try something new :)

Languages, Music, History, Architecture
Running, Hiking, Swimming, Reading, Baking (trying new recipes, even if they come out looking terrible the first time.... though they usually taste good!)

Cien A()os de Soledad, Antes que Anochezca, poemas de Pablo Neruda y Ruben Dario
The Alchemist, Harry Potter (yes, I still think they are good), The New Yorker, NPR (online)
Whatever is lying in front of me when I am bored...
Adele, Arcade Fire, Belle & Sebastian, Beirut, Billie Holiday, Bon Iver, Cat Power, Elliott Smith, Gipsy Kings, Gotan Project, Hossam Ramzy, Iron & Wine, Johnny Cash, Juan Luis Guerra, Kanye West, Led Zeppelin, Louis Armstrong, Mariza, Natacha Atlas, Nina SImone, Paco de Lucia, Rachid Taha, Radiohead, Regina Spektor, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Shakira, Sigur Ros, Yann Tiersen, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Zoe Keating (to name a few, and far too many).
I also feel totally guilty about liking catchy dance music and some top 40, but it's seriously the best gym/motivation music. There, I said it
