Sobre mí

Hey there!!

I'm from Perth (technically Mandurah) in Western Australia and have been travelling through Europe since May. I have worked in a ridiculous amount of occupations, including at the State Administrative Tribunal (WA), a theatre/events company at the Uni of WA as Front of House, and at many festivals and functions. I completed a 4 year psychology degree in 2013 but have currently put my professional life on hold to seek wisdom throughout Europe and grow into a respectable adult with fantastic stories and friends all over the world.

I both lived with housemates away from the family home for the last 5 or so years and so understand the importance of being considerate to the space of others, including cleaning up after yourself and not leaving your stuff everywhere. I have lived with females and males, dogs, rabbits, birds and a cat from large houses to smaller units.

I will be a fantastic temporary addition to your house as I'm always up for a good feed and a laugh and am happy to hang out or leave you to your space.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

This is my first time in Europe (and on a big trip) and I'm staying until I run out of money or until February (whatever comes first). I'm on CS as I'm looking for the local experience where I are able to! I love learning about new books, music, movies, TV shows, and things to do from a local perspective. If someone gave me a job in each city I went to, I would happily stay for weeks to get a deeper understanding of the culture and really learn what it's like to live somewhere other than Australia.

I are fairly new to CS but have stayed with some great people and have been to a CS catch up and can't wait to get more involved. It won't be long until I head back to home and are able to host people myself (once I find a place to live!).

Intereses

I love live music, reading books, doing puzzles, playing soccer (although not all that well), cheese (triple cream brie, yes please!), mexican food, and sangria. I love to explore new cities and wander through the bush. Snow is definitely a new phenomenon and it's not hot unless you're sweating.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Zip lining through the jungle of Costa Rica.
Skydiving in Queenstown, New Zealand. Glastonbury Festival in the UK.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I'm currently attempting to learn Spanish and would love to introduce my hosts to great Aussie foods (in other words.. Australian versions of other culture's foods...) and learn all I can about what it is to live in your city.

Almost all of my favourite experiences on holidays have been whilst staying with locals, learning about their culture (and delicious food!) and sharing stories.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Ridiculous stories, hours of conversation about food and discussions about whatever book I'm reading.
