First most people call me Sal (middle name) :-)
Life if what you make of it, and adventure does not come to you. 2015 is a year of many good changes starting out with my new motorcycle. Nothing says freedomn like 2 wheels, open road and a small tent.
I work with technology all day so I am always looking for a reason to escape the urban jungle and enjoy the short summers that we have here in Calgary. New experiences are what fuel the energy in my brain and I am looking forward to meeting up and sharing some great stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My good friend Calin is a big believer in couch surfing and is encouraging me to explore more. It can always be exciting to share different cultures with people. As different as we can all be, we are all still people in the end and have more similarities than differences.

Teach, Learn, Share
OK, I am a life long learner, meaning that I love to absorb new ideas and cultures.
Things that I learned: We romanticize the Gyspy life style and often equate it with free spirits. Romanian people can have a very different reaction if you call them Gypsy spirited. There are certainly a lot of negative connections with the Roma people from their first hand experience.
Things that I can teach: want to make kick ass armour costumes? In my garage we can mold foam into very unique pieces.
