After a career of staring at screens, I pursued my dream to study Japanese and travel extensively throughout Japan. Two trips later, I make plans every day to return. In the meantime, living in a tourist attraction myself, it would be a shame not to return some of the hospitality I've been shown. My very patient partner takes care of things while I go on tangents, and I am very lucky to have found him.

I have varied interests, but usually study as much as I can about a particular subject, so I have some deep yet narrow knowledge about mostly obscure things. My current interest is Sikhism, but there are a lot of other books on my shelf.

I do not drive, but here a car is hardly necessary. I can meet folks at metro stations and we can take city exploring from there.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm more of a fan of video games, and have spent an embarrassing amount of time arranging blocks, shooting space pixels, and dodging bombs. I've also been a Wasteland Explorer (even on hard mode in 4 and NV), the head of various guilds, and have died enough times in Dark Souls to have brain damage. I also would rather play as Peach for reasons. I'm not a militant Gurl Gamer though, just an original arcade player, where as I recall no one gave me any trouble.

I have read though, just not as much or as high-brow as I might like. Oh well.
