I'm a red bearded Finnish native seeking of an adventure, wherever that might be.

Currently I'm working in Volt clothing store but my dream is to get to study music pedagogy in Finland's most prestigious music school, Sibelius-Academy. Doesn't matter what it takes, I will get there!

I'm a social, kind of a "laugh out loud"-person, which means that I laugh, a lot. And with a distinctive voice. Though I still have pretty strong scandinavian side, so I also like my space and like to have some peace and quiet now and then.
I'm pretty musical, I play bass, guitar, piano and whatever else I can get my hands on, with a variable skill and success. So whenever there's an opportunity to jam, I'll be ready, no matter what instrument.
I like to read and write poems and short stories, and almost always carry some book with me in the case of an emergency! Currently I'm reading lot of american novels.
I really enjoy nature and long hikes in the forests and mountains, and just generally being in the wilderness. There is something calming and relaxing when you can feel and smell the nature around you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, to get more authentic experience of given country and get new experiences!

When you literally live on someone's couch, you get to see the world from their perspective and it's always rewarding to widen your own world view that way.
And you get (hopefully) learn new culture from the native in so called "grass-root level" which is always more interesting than the usual tourist vacation.

Favorite music: Almost anything. My taste is pretty broad, from rap to country to pop to jazz to folk to post-electronic to minimalistic.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach music, including theory, guitar and somewhat piano. Of course Finnish language if someone is interested and maybe Finnish culture and way of life, but that need little amount of grumpiness.

I'd really like to learn more about the languages and the culture in general. How people live, what are the unnamed rules and so on. Everything new is always new!! And of course new recipes and cooking styles!
