Hello! I am Jack and I'm 28 from the north of England although now living in London. I am an avid traveller of the world, I believe the more I see and the more people I meet will give me a greater understanding of all that it is to be human and maybe give an understanding of what it really takes to live all together in peace without all the politics. Not a hippy, however that might sound. I'm an ex military man (8 years in the Airborne Forces) so you can rest assured that I am tidy and respectful of others and the rules.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because as much as I have a burning desire to see every inch of the planet, it's damn expensive! Also the best trips I've ever done are trips where I have a local whispering in my ear the best places to go or things to do. When you're in the know with someone from that place it becomes such a more authentic visit and that for me trumps all. (Not Donald - the adjective)

Interests

FOOD. EATING. - secondary interests is a list far and wide, I love to get out and explore new places. Meeting new people and learning about what makes them tick! Sports, spectating and playing. Adrenaline junkie.

Music, Movies, and Books

Big reader, my kindle comes with me everywhere. On my downtime I love to catch a movie, big marvel/dc fan but I appreciate all movies. Live music, YES. In all forms, shapes and sizes it is a part of me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently climbed Trolltunga in July which was a blast. I've ran alone through the Sahara desert and slept under the stars on Australian and south East Asian sands. But mostly I've met amazing people and listened to their stories.

I can teach you anything and everything that you'd like to know about anything and everything that I know (although it's pretty limited ha!) I can cook if you'd like to learn, I'm also experienced in boxing and martial arts if that's your thing and follow nutrition diets if that's something you'd be interested in learning about.
