Overview
About Me
Hello, I'm a 20 year old Australian, presently on a trip from Europe to north America. So far I have spent around 5 months in Europe and some 3 in the USA too. Now it's time to head north into Canada, where I'll be partaking of a 2 year working holiday visa!
I am mostly a quiet guy, who likes time to read and relax. I spend most of the day out and about exploring, and the evenings drinking wine and chatting to people or reading in a bar. I've also been known to cook a somewhat decent vegetarian meal (with a bottle of wine nearby, of course). I also play guitar and some piano, and always like a chance to play along with other musicians.
If you know any good cafes, any good wine spots or anywhete for live jazz, I want to hear from you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd love for the opportuniy to spend my time abroad as experienced by the local perspective. I like to learn how it is to live in all these beautiful cities I'm visiting.
I enjoy getting to know people in a more personal environment - hostels can be great, but I often find myself overwhelmed with too many people and too many things going on at once. With couchsurfing, I want to be able to meet some interesting people who are happy to spend a night at home chatting, or a night out for nice live music.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music mostly involves jazz (I love live jazz gigs) and some alternative type stuff.
Books mostly involve literary fiction and poetry - I could discuss books all day, and I very much urge you to test me on that claim.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lost a zippo lighter in a bet with a Russian. No regrets.
Teach, Learn, Share
English of course. Happy to teach what I know if guitar, and Japanese too!
Always learning languages wherever I go.
I made a pretty solid apple pie if you want to learn how :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Endess wine, some vegetarian cooking (no guarantee of anything fancy!), good chats, music (if instruments are provided), many tales of my adventures, apple pie, and as of April a pretty wicked snowboarding jacket that I don't want anymore.
