Hey there, I'm Jack! I'm currently studying French & Spanish at Hull University and I'm an avid photographer and musician. I'm a polite, quite quiet but outgoing guy and I like to think I'm funny, whilst also able to hold an interesting conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the moment I'm looking for a place to live in Hull and I don't have the money to spend on a hotel room, so if someone able to lend their sofa for a night I would be incredibly grateful. Also this seems like a great way to meet nice, like-minded people and maybe even form a few friendships in the area :)

As I said before, apart from learning languages I'm also a photographer and musician. I also love to travel, learning about different cultures, reading, cinema, music and meeting new people :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is very eclectic, from Taylor Swift to Nirvana and Childish Gambino to Debussy! I love films, particularly foreign films such as Amélie and Pan's Labyrinth, but always have time for a good comedy or action too :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done was volunteering with disabled children for a week, which was just the most rewarding experience I've ever had. It was a lot of hard work and by the end of the week I was exhausted, but as cheesy as it sounds it was worth it to see the smiles on the kids' faces.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're musical in any way I play piano, guitar and bass, so I'm always up for a jam or if you have an instrument I'll happily give you a lesson!

I can offer my photography skills and would be happy to take some photographs for you, whether it's just for fun or you're an aspiring model :P
