Eager to meet others from different parts of the world who bother to stop by at this tiny 'city' where I live in~
Helpful, generous guy, with a strong will.
Knowledgeable, with a deep passion for food.
My personal life goals are to outlive my parents, in terms of quality of life and earning ability.
A job fresh off university brings me to this tiny 'city', and provides me a life better than my parents'. However, it was huge change as in the past I have always been living in proper, bigger metropolitans.
Due to the size of the 'city', the people I meet is pretty limited and less recreational or leisure activities available.
Hence, I wish to meet others and have fun while creating a bigger network of friends around the world.
I reckon it is fun and enjoyable to bring newcomers or couch surfers around the parts of NZ I am familiar with.
My personal philosophy is change the unacceptable, accept the unchangeable.
Note, trying to change before accepting.
For me nothing is impossible, and there is no limit to one's ability and potential; it just boils down to how much you want your goals.
Having said that, I will only accept 'fate' if I have tried my best and I am powerless to do anything anymore.
With that, I live my life to the fullest, with no regrets.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am here to help whoever stops by this tiny 'city' where I live in, to experience this tiny 'city' and its beauty. With that, I hope to help myself in meeting different people and sharing experience, knowledge and wisdom.
None at this point.
Just starting up.
Meeting new people, sharing experience and knowledge.
Discussing current affairs.
Spend my time with cooking and the odd short trip nearby.
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to Taiwanese Pop music, and the occasional Western Pop music.
I like movies with good storyline such as The Inside Man.
I love comedy. Favourite comedy of 2012 is The Dictator. I find it hilarious and poking fun at global affairs.
Sci-Fi or action movies are good for me too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spontaneous trips over weekends, to as far as 4 hours drive away in one go.
Completed the round the Eastern Bay trip and back within 13 hours, with dinner stopover at Gisborne.
Did 1000km of driving in 24 hours after work.
