Experience the best of Tenerife. Hacerme canario y disfrutar del presente.
Chocolate?? I like it! You too? Wow, we're going to get along just fine! Sometimes I make chocolate sandwiches. Two blocks of white chocolate with a dark chocolate block as a filling.I am interested in things and stuff. But not at the same time.I don't see the point in ironing. I calculate that I've saved 192 hours of my life by avoiding it.I like to save time so I can waste it on other things.I like to plagiarize good ideas.I like cats. I hate when they run away from me.I like playing games: Scrabble is good. I know a lot of words.I think a better name for cheese grater would be sponge destroyer. Some people say the world has 4 corners. I think there are 37. I've already seen 12 of them.I like to meet people with different views and exchange ideas and arrive at a better understanding of the world. I try to be optimistic and look for the best in others. I try to be happy and relaxed, and I rarely manage to do this. Like most humans I have many contradictions.I studied chemical engineering, but when I finished university I went travelling for a year and learned much more! Since May 2010 I have been nomadic, constantly travelling and occassionally stopping for longer periods in interesting places. I like "alternative" ways of travelling: hitch-hiking, wwoofing, help-exchange, hospitality networks. When I'm not working, I'm usually sleeping. When I'm not sleeping I like to play music on my trumpet or on any piano I can find. I like to read a lot and have recently discovered a passion for languages. Sometimes I try to be artistic. I always try to make people smile and laugh :) And sometimes it works!I like hugs, kisses and smiles... and I really like people who give them to me! ;-)I've been nomadic since May 2010... Have a look at my travel blog to see how my journey is progressing.
One day your life will flash before your eyes.
Make sure it's worth watching.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to be an enjoyable and generous guest/host. CS shows that the world can and should be built on trust and honesty.
I never surf couches (I'm afraid of falling repeatedly into cold water, especially on someone else's couch).
When I sleep on a couch, I always tell the host it was very comfortable (although it usually isn't).
So far, I have had the great privilege to be hosted by many wonderful people in 20 countries. I love to pass on their generosity to my guests. So, you will be lucky if you get a chance to stay with me when I'm not too busy! I will do my best to offer you an enjoyable stay. I have surfed more than 60 times. I have hosted over 40 people. I've also organised some events and shown people I can't host around the places where I have lived.
Science, ecology, music, history, society, art, love, animals, food, jokes...
I do like talking nonsense.
I'm interested in you (or, at the very least, I will pretend to be interested).
I'm interested in knowing obscure facts for no particular reason. I lose sleep thinking about silly things.
Music, Movies, and Books
Ah! Music! Musik, musique, música, ceol... I love it! I (try to) play piano and trumpet, mostly classical and jazz. I listen to all types, especially rock, classical, jazz, electronica. I also have a fondness for classic disco tunes!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have one you would never believe! You'll just have to meet me to find out!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a little bit about most things. I know a little bit more about science, engineering, teaching and music.
Teach. I can show you how to cook tasty vegetarian food. I can teach you how to make nice sounds on the trumpet and piano. I can give you advice on how to hitchhike and have fun doing it. I can give you advice on how to learn languages quickly.
Learn. I want to learn some practical life skills: how to grow food organically, use permaculture, make tools, fix useful things, make buildings, survival skills. I would like to learn more about other languages and cultures. My cooking skills are not great, so I'd like to learn some tasty vegan recipes. Can anyone show me how to be more creative? Who can show me how to memorize sheet music? Can you teach me some massage techniques?
Share. I will share stories, jokes, hugs, food, experiences, conversation and smiles with everyone who comes to me with an open mind.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can show you all the hidden places in Tenerife. They say I know the isalnd even better than the locals!
