By day I work in IT support - by night I'm a Paranormal Investigator!
I'm currently working on my BA Psychological Sciences and I run the blog The Ghost Writer.
I'm a heavy metal, cat-loving, deep thinking writer who gets bored easily. I ride motorbikes, rockclimb, hike, read and love to get lost in either the city or the bush (though it's kind of hard, I know Sydney back to front haha).
I'm part of a Paranormal group called Australian Paranormal Phenomenon Investigators (APPI for short) and we run ghost hunts and tours from Windsor to Dural to Liverpool and Berrima (to name a few) around Sydney, as well as running Paranormal and Spiritual Expos and Psychic Fairs/Markets (basically like a normal market).
My regular stomping grounds are Parramatta, Olympic Park, Katoomba/Blue Mountains, Newtown, Sydney, Penrith, Campbelltown and the Southern Highlands in Sydney's south. If you have any questions about things to do in these areas (not just if you want to stay with me) please hit me up!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and learning new things with a personal twist - you don't get that when you travel by yourself and hang with the in-crowd.
I will share with you all the stuff I know :) so long as you share with me!!
- rock music
- rock climbing
- social psychology
- eating good food
- paranormal investigation
Music, Movies, and Books
My music can vary from metal to shamanistic to classical and just plain pop. I adore European bands by Clementine Ford, and various Laurell K Hamilton, Charlene Harris and Anne Rice books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My husband and I eloped to New Zealand and were married by handfasting on top of a mountain with the Valley and Lake Wanaka below us, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. It was the most amazing experience of my life <3
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to read tea leaves, tarot cards or I can make a BANGING risotto!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can talk - oh my GOSH can I talk!
If you've ever wanted to see someone else get excited about your life, or your home, or your culture then talk to me for about 5 minutes. I'm rather excitable :)
