About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To work out the work-life balance

ABOUT ME

I teach French and English as an Additional Language at a high school in Melbourne. Before that I was a language assistant in Guadeloupe. Before that I was an exchange student in Lyon.
I am a pretty easy-going person, though I like to challenge myself. I also love to learn, and to laugh at the hilarious things kids say.

PHILOSOPHY

Say yes. Step out of your comfort zone. Do the things that scare you.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a few times on my various travels and have always had such positive experiences. Now I'm finally in the position to return the favour!

Interests

Being creative. Learning bits of languages (wo bu ming bai han yu). Coming up with theories. Philosophising. Chocolate biscuits with cups of tea. Bad puns. Surrealism. Lazy summer evenings. Polka dots. Dumplings.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Jumping out of a plane on Friday the 13th, seeing my first ever snowfall in London five minutes into the new year, watching shooting stars in the Sahara.

I know, that's more than one thing. For that I consider myself very lucky.
