CURRENT MISSION

The JaiYen mission is to explore northern India for two weeks, learning as much about the local culture, history, art, food, languages and the daily life.

ABOUT ME

We are 5 Peace Corps Volunteers serving in rural Northeastern Thailand (2 women and 3 men, mid-twenties). We started our service here in January 2010 and will be finished February 2011. In the meantime, we relish in our opportunity to learn about this intricate and beautiful Thai culture while making friends, both volunteers and host-country nationals.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While we are unable to host couch surfers, we will be travelling in Northern India for two weeks in September 2011 and jump at the opportunity to stay with a generous person or people who will open their homes, a room, or camping space for a day or two.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No prior experience.
