ABOUT ME

I'm Jake, a young folk/americana musician travelling the great United States. I spend most of my time writing and searching for stories, experiences and memories. I hope to fill the upcoming months with new faces, friends, adventures, new songs from the road. I've been in College studying English and Poetry. I love people, dogs, movies, trains..

PHILOSOPHY

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last summer in Austin, TX, I stayed at an Music arts collective for two weeks.. the timing worked out and they gave me a room that was empty for those two weeks. A bonded with a bunch of the musicians/songwriters, they supported me, got me shows and recordings. I helped out cleaning around the house, made meals, and shared stories . It was a great two weeks.
