I am Jakob and i am 19 years old (soon turning 20).
I am living with my family in a town near vienna, Austria.
from the end of june 2015 i'll be on my 9 month journey through southeast asia, covering :
Hong Kong, Phillipines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bali, Java , Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam;)
I am gonna wirte a blog about my everyday struggle to stay alive (just kiddin' ;-) in those exciting places of the earth .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for awesome people who let me crash on their couch/bed/floor and maybe show me around their cities/towns.
Also, i am very interested in getting to know about diffrent cultures and lifestyles.
So i would highly appreciate any opportunity of staying with a local couchsurfer. :-)

I am not really a sports person at all but i like Basketball, and i am cruisin' with my longboard every day .

Music is my life.

I am not a big reader but i love 'the longest way' by Christoph Rehage
(this book is more or less the reason why i am challenging myself to this journey)

Hm lets see... i am 19 years old, i quit my job and sold my car to travel through southeast asia for 9 months all by myself. :-P

That's pretty scary i guess.
