I am a leadership enthusiast, mix of introvert and extrovert. I love to learn new things, not that good at meeting new people. Yet. I like people different from me as they are an opportunity to see the world from completely new perspective.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I should have travel during my studies, but I haven't. Now, I want to catch up.
For many years, I have also been quite shy and not very good at meeting new people. Eventually, I have realized that is not a good way to live and enjoy life and decided I want to meet new people and I see couchsurfing as great way to make that happen.
I have studied international relations and political science, but eventually, I have realized that is not something I would like to do for the rest of my life. Leadership was something that caught my attention and I have been studying and when possible also practicing that ever since.
In my free time, I volunteer in a local NGO working with teenagers.
Music, Movies, and Books
Leadership literature (Leaders eat last, Start with why), non-fiction (Dan Ariely: Predictably irrational), C.S. Lewis, Robert Fulghum, J. K. Rowling, Karel Čapek and many others ...
From music, I like mix of pop, indie/alt and country/folk (One Republic, The Script, Jaymay, Birdy, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Barefoot truth).
Movies I like depend on my mood, most often I just want to relax and not to think, so comedies win. But time from time I watch a good drama.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn the art of small talk and meeting people. I am also interested in yoga.
As someone who wants to share everything I know with people around me, learning to listen is my current goal.
