ABOUT ME

Hey ya'll, I'm James. Jambulani was my Xulu nickname in South Africa while I was there, it means 'happiness' or 'maker of happiness'. I'm chill, accepting and always like to stay optomistic in each moment. I'm a recent graduate from UCDavis with a BS in Psychology; now out of school SF is my next destination for awhile and I'm just trying to surf until I can scrounge enough for a more permanent residence. Otherwise, my plan is to live life as it takes me in hopes of stumbling on ways I can integrate dance and/or massage/bodywork in with psychotherapy. As a side note, I'm a light smoker, but I'd of course keep that to an outside (smell conscious) activity.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm paraphrasing my version of this from my Karate teacher but, to comprehend is to hear, remember and maybe repeat, to understand is to experience whilst at one with your body. Meaning, get your butt out there and do! Being spoon-fed info is great, but you've got to experience the doing to really understand.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not gonna lie, having no homebase is un-nerving. I've traveled and done the hostel thing, but I'm sort of a noob here.
