ABOUT ME
Hey there! I'm currently a medical student studying in the wonderful city of Edinburgh.
At the end of the day I guess I'm a pretty creative person. I'm fun and out-going but still enjoy a level of seriousness and sophistication. I'm a funny person; and I know everyone says they are funny but I've got references, from friends, to prove it.
What drew me to medicine was people. The diverse range of humanity that I will meet as a doctor. I guess that's the same reason why I'm drawn towards travelling and couchsurfing.
PHILOSOPHY
"It's not the amount of breaths you take in your life that counts, but the amount of moments that take your breath away."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My room is too small to host at the moment; we don't even have a couch in the flat!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None but hopefully this will change.
Interests
Almost anything but specifically: literature, writing, art, philosophy, debating, science, linguistics, nature, culture, walking, swimming, and cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of music but don't have very specific tastes. One day I could be listening to Andrew Bird and Alt-J, and the other Madonna so whatever floats your boat probably floats mine as well.
Far too many books to list: a lot of contemporary and literary stuff with the occasional dash of science fiction. Here's my Goodreads account: http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/6672631-james. (Don't know what Goodreads it? Get it. Get it now.)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach drawing and writing.
I can teach Mandarin Chinese.
I can teach English--obviously.
I can teach medicine, though no practicals, haha.
I want to learn how to take photos.
I want to learn French.
