About Me

I'm studying a Masters Psychology degree, hoping to pursue a career in Educational Psychology. Currently living in the beautiful seaside Scottish town of St Andrews. Love music, literature, cooking, walking and sports. I'm a good listener and always interested to hear about new cultures and to see new sights.

Meeting new people who are locals to the area is a great way to learn about a new place and to hear about the lesser known gems. I'm always keen to learn about places, cultures, languages, attitudes and to meet like minded people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered with Raleigh International in southern Tanzania for 3 months. We were a team of 12, 6 UK and 6 Tanzanians, and we lived in a small village with a local family. We were spreading awareness and teaching locals about the importance of good hygiene - we taught in the primary school, held community action days, visited houses and did surveys to identify the problems in the community. 3 months is not a long time but I hope our work had some impact and they took our teaching onboard :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play guitar or piano or about music in general. I can teach about English literature and how to read poetry. Keen to learn about different cultures and attitudes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach or perform music if you have a guitar or piano :) sing songs are always good fun. I've read quite a lot of English and American literature and am confident at reading poetry so could have story time!
