ABOUT ME
My name is James McManus and I am American student currently studying in Brazil. I am from the southern region of the USA. I have two dogs, love to run, drinking coffee, hiking, learning new languages, and just having a good time. I always excited to meet new people, see new places, and eat new foods.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is one of constant learning and discovery. I am a really curious person who is always questioning. To me living is the questioning the world around you and always trying to discover something new.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently traveling, but when I return home would be more than happy to host people. Need to ask the roommates and the get details together.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have yet to couch surf through this network. However when I first arrived in Brazil I surfed around for a little while getting my self settled. It was difficult but amazing experience, that I made me more interested in this group.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
What a great question! The most amazing thing I have seen is the city the city of Ouro Preto. I spent over a year studying Brazilian history and when I got a chance to visit the city it took my breath away.
