About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to explore the western half of South America, learn from its people and lands, learn spanish and if able work on community organizing and public health
ABOUT ME
I've spent a long time studying and working on someone else's schedule so I'm taking 8 months to do what I feel like doing, when I feel like doing it. This has taken me to South America where I will spend at least 5 months in Chile before heading to Argentina and then north to Bolivia.
PHILOSOPHY
I feel that in order to live a satisfactory life I must contribute to my greater world/ local communities with positivity and creativity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am brand new to this organization but have been taking in friends and friends of friends for years. My apartment has always had an open door. At one point I had crammed five people in a one bedroom apartment and it was like a sit com
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Friends and friends of friends have hosted me on both coasts of the us, as far north as Seattle, as far south as LA and as far east as boston. In all I've had some of the best times on the road and have discovered all sorta of activities and nuances in life I would never have thought of or been able to do.

Teach, Learn, Share
I know a bunch of social theory especially revolving around race, class, gender and sexulaity. I know a bit of economics as these concerns intersect and influence people's lives and I was pretty into existentialism at one point. Always excited to learn more and especially need to improve my spanish .
