About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is James. I like to think of myself as a kind-hearted, genuine, and open-minded person. Initially I can be shy, but after I get comfortable I like a good conversation about almost anything. I definitely have a passion for talking to people from other places in the world. I can have a sarcastic/wacky sense of humor, but all in all I'd say I'm a nice person who is very easy to get a long with. I hope I get the chance to stay with you!

Interests

I listen to a wide range of music both on my record player as well as ipod. Love to make mix-CDs for others and share tastes in music.
I like to run/walk everyday usually in nature. I'm a hippy at heart.
Not a partier or drinker, but still love to laugh and have fun in small groups of people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Almost Famous, American Beauty, Labyrinth
Music - Classic rock, indie/pop, alternative, movie scores, records. With music I believe it is something to be enjoyed rather than limiting yourself to certain genres. Have a very open mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm trying to think of something. So many things in life could be considered 'amazing' depending on one's perspective. For me I ultimately appreciate the simple things - a sunset, the ocean, trees, a person, the wind etc etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've studied various topics. I'd say my knowledge would be more in philosophy, religion, culture, and politics with a dash of science in there. I speak some Japanese.
