Overview
About Me
Hi! you can call me Jaime, currently living in Andijan, Uzbekistan. I'm someone who enjoys discovering new cultures, hearing people's stories, and seeing the world through different perspectives. I'm curious by nature and love meaningful conversations — whether over a home-cooked meal or while walking through a local neighborhood.
People often describe me as friendly, respectful, and open-minded. I appreciate simple things in life — like a good book, nature, and warm human connections. I'm always looking to grow, whether it's learning a new language, improving my cooking, or understanding different worldviews.
In my free time, I enjoy watching and playing football with my friends, and learning Python programming (I'm currently studying it with a goal of pursuing IT abroad!). I also enjoy making videos and learning about AI content creation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I believe travel is more than ticking off places — it’s about the people you meet and the experiences you share. Couchsurfing allows us to break barriers, build trust, and connect as humans beyond borders. I want to meet locals, share stories, and also give back by hosting others when I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to movies, I really enjoy action, horror, and comedy — anything that keeps me entertained or on the edge of my seat. A good laugh or a bit of adrenaline always makes for a fun watch. I also like movies based on true stories or biographies — they inspire me and often stick with me the longest.
For books, I prefer biographies and real-life stories. I enjoy reading about people’s journeys, challenges, and how they overcame them — it motivates me to keep pushing forward in my own life.
Music-wise, I’m into classic tracks — the kind of music that never gets old. Whether it's calm, emotional, or nostalgic, classic music always helps me relax or reflect.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once spent a full day without using my phone, internet, or any digital tools — just walking around my city, talking to strangers, writing in a notebook, and observing life as it happened. It felt like I had hit a mental reset button. That simple day made me realize how connected we can feel when we actually disconnect.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good company, interesting conversations, and stories from my culture and travels. I'm always happy to help around the house, cook a simple dish from my country, or teach you a few words in Uzbek or Russian. I’m respectful, clean, and easygoing — I believe in leaving a place better than I found it. If you’re into football, music, or movies, we’ll have plenty to talk about too!
