Hey, I'm Jan. I'm a student of Environmental Sciences from Cologne. I think I am a communicative person and can develop an interest and enthusiasm for maaany things. Sometimes I get told that I'm like a little sponge. So as long as you are fine with sitting on the hot seat, we should get along :D No but seriously, I find people exciting and it's always cool to meet new people from other countries (or also from your own)
I like clubbing (more techno lately), but my roots are in nature, so even more than clubs I like to be out in forests and mountains (my spleen is that I'm pretty good with birds, so I usually have binoculars with me in nature) or chilling on the beach, playing volleyball or ideally scuba diving.

Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet local people who you wouldn't meet if you were staying in a hostel for instance. Simply a great chance to dive a little deeper into the culture. And to be honest it's also cheaper which isn't unimportant for a small-budget traveler ;)
