I've always loved reading books. Most of the time I read book in English.

BOOKS:

I try to read books by different author from different countries, because only that way will one broaden one's horizons in my opinion. It's not good to stick to reading only books from your country in your language.

The Count of Monte Cristo - an amazing classic novel, also Three Musketeers by the same author.

The Star Rover by Jack London (great book about survival and drawing a line between the body and mind in terms of suffering)

The Warded Man (a very interesting fantasy novel, great characters development)

Harry Potter - I always adored the story and I've never really understood why teachers at school were so unhappy to hear a lot of us were reading it, because I think the whole series might teach us a lot about friendship.

Sapiens by Harari - an interesting book about evolution, he also makes an interesting point about traveling, saying that many people travel because they want to "find" themselves, but that will never happen; also talks about about today's consumer society, which I couldn't agree more.

The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett - amazing historical fiction about building of a cathedral in the 12th-century England, even though quite long, completely worth it. It follows relationships of many characters over several decades and it was just brilliant to see the lives of people at that time and what they had to go through.

Fahrenheit 451 - a book about books! One I will never forget.

The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham - not to spoil anything, but this book has interesting ideas at the end and could change the way people look at things and especially learning new things.

Saturnin - a Czech book known for its specific humor, consider it a classic

Dva proti říši - a Czech book following historical events regarding an assassination of Heidrich during World War II. I'm afraid it hasn't been translated to English yet.

MOVIES:

I don't have as many favourite movies as I have favourite books, but the following is my favourite:

My most favourite movie is a French one - The Intouchables, saw it several times already and it will never bore me, filled with humor, sadness, many things to think about regarding one's life.

Lost on Journey (人在囧途) - a Chinese movie, a funny comedy, watched it a few times.

Shower (洗澡)

TV SHOWS:

I enjoyed watching The Arrow, The Flash, Breaking Bad, Prison Break, Nikita

MUSIC:

Hmm, I'm not so passionate about listening to music, but from time to time I listen to classical music like Mozart.
