I am a molecular biologist and hobby-sinologist. I work a lot because (so far) I love what I do. If not in the lab, I listen to music, hike, dance, stargaze, read and explore life.
If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have surfed once, hosted twice - so I am rather new to the CS community and hope that I will make many good experiences with couchsurfing members in the future. I enjoy participating in events and have been at some both in Stockholm (where I lived half a year) and Vienna.
What I like: reading (German, English or Latin), music (mainly classical, love opera), going for a walk when I feel like it, hiking, really good food, funny-sarcastic people, travelling and experiencing foreign cultures, ballroom-dancing, astronomy and observing stars, making people happy, discussions & philosophy, helping people, mind games, being alone when I want to.
What I dislike: millipedes & arachnids, drinking bottled water, boredom, marmite, war, being alone when I don't want to.
