ABOUT ME

I'm outgoing, easy to get along with, and I love meeting people from other cultures. If I could have any superpower, it would be to be able to understand, speak, read, and write all the languages on earth. (Flying is a close second choice as far as superpowers go.) I love trying new foods and laughing loudly. My favorite way to travel is to go on long walks through whatever city or village I'm visiting, and let the beauty of spontaneous encounters shape the experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am really interested in meeting people from all around the world! I've couchsurfed a bit while visiting friends in Vienna, and I had an excellent experience. I'm looking forward to expanding my world and learning about others! Unfortunately, my current living situation doesn't allow for couchsurfing visitors, but I hope in the future to open up my home, too, as an opportunity to give back.

兴趣

I love to read--especially non-fiction related to my interests of urban planning and community development. I also am an avid knitter and I love plants and the outdoors. I do some freelance map-making and collage creation/illustration in my spare time.

I love electronic music, punk, indie rock, pop, pretty much anything--especially if it's danceable :) Soul music is a go-to for me on quiet winter days. Animated movies like The Incredibles and Up are some of my favorites, but I also love almost anything with Amy Poehler or Rooney Mara. Favorite TV show is definitely Parks and Recreation.
