i love movement and being in this body. i teach yoga and find great pleasure in helping people get stronger, more flexible, and rediscover their own beauty in the wonderful expression that our practice offers. i dance daily, in classes and with a private teacher. i've been studying and performing improv in san francisco for almost four years now and that is the most exciting thing that i do. last week i played a klingon captain and a siren who was gifted at performing the tea ceremony. oh boy! i'm also a great cook and cooked professionally for 20 years.

meditation regularly leaves me awestruck. likewise nature. last summer this wild turkey jumped off the hill above my house and barreled through the air into a redwood tree in my back yard. every afternoon. for fun? to get in shape? i do not know, but i miss his evil kneivel commitment. i like ping pong and could probably beat you. i was a chef at a really good winery and like to drink it and talk about it. i write.
