About Me

Live and Learn, Laugh and Love!

I have a lot of energy! I am a positive person with a good vibe. I like to share experiences and I love learning new things and meeting new people. I laugh a lot and I'm good at having fun! Though I am very dynamic, I can also be calm, like when I am in large outdoor spaces or having serious conversations. My ideal job would probably be to spray joy and help people find happiness in their life.

Feelings are good! Let them in, accept them and be grateful to life (or whatever thing you thinks makes humans feel) to have the chance to feel. Be sad, be happy, feel some fear or drive, just BE! That's what made me happy :).
Putting a smile on your face sometimes makes everything easier!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed for a few months in Argentina. I want to host when I have my own place. I have participated in some CS meetings of the group from La Plata (Province of Buenos Aires) and enjoyed it!

I started couchsurfing in 2012 and loved it. So far I have used CS only in Argentina, Uruguay and Canada.

Just finished studying, I am now traveling and involving time in social and environmental causes. I guess we could say that I am an active citizen. I love outdoors activities; climbing, hiking, canoeing, biking etc. I like to try new activities! I like to watch movies, though not a fan of horror movies! I really like dancing, that is one of the things that can get me the closest to feeling completely free. I also enjoy painting and sketching, which does not mean that I am good at it. I wanna try bungee jumping!

Music, Movies, and Books

Ska, reggae, cumbia, rock, some metal, "feel-good" music, John Butler, Xavier Rudd, The Cat Empire,Les Colocs, Tonimontaña (Buenos Aires), Sigur Ros, Perota Chingo...
I will honestly say that I am not so good at reading books... I get distracted. I like stories. I would like to read more. Here are a few titles that I have read and liked: Le Petit Prince, Fahreinheit 451, Animal Farm, Bilbo the Hobbit, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Alchimist, The Trial and others. Right now I'm trying to finish El Tunel by Sabato, and I have to finish “1984“ by G. Orwell.
Lots of movies, not the ones with stereotypes (blockbusters, average "occidental" overly-paid-for-movie). Oh don't think I'm discriminating, crappy movies can come from any country in the world, they'll still be crap. That did not say what movies I like, well... good ones. Next one I should watch is Café de Flore. Last one I watched was "La Haine" (May 2013), about life in Paris's suburbs. Braveheart was good, as well as Forrest Gump, the last samurai, merry Christmas, Vita bella, Bon cop bad cop, and others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once in Montreal I danced my life at a giant drum circle, which was epic. I also had some moments of total serenity that happened while being surrounded by nature. I felt the most proud when I did a speech during a protest on tuition fees.

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess I could try to teach how to see the best in life, but you'll also have to work hard for that! I wanna learn yoga, how to meditate, how to do gardening and agriculture. I would like to be able to focus more, though I have no idea on how to learn that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Practice French, English or Spanish.
Cook (though I am not that experienced)
Talk and listen :-)
