Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently backpacking around Europe indefinitely. I am currently in Paris (february 17, 2014. Next I will be in Amsterdam (february 19, 2014). After that....who knows!!! I am looking to couch surf anywhere the travel waves and winds blow me! Although I love seeing the sights/the world-famous tourist attractions, I don't like doing the whole "tourist" thing. By that I mean, I want to experience the real culture and life of a local in each place. I also love meeting other travelers doing the same free form backpacking who would like some company on some trips as well.

Interests

I'm a bit cheesy and can honestly say I am always down to try new things. I'm interested in all music and forms of art. I love learning history and languages. I grew up playing soccer and basketball, then making the switch to Rugby 7 years ago, so I love sports in general. I'm just plain fascinated by people. And I most definitely like to party as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

FUCK only putting ONE example: Spent my 21st birthday (legal US drinking age) at the opening day of Oktoberfest and was sung Happy Birthday by the musicians and entire beer tent. Fed octopus to hundreds of giant stingrays in the Grand Cayman Islands. Hiked through the Grand Canyon. Been in two hemispheres at once.
